Dream:

My canoe will be launched into the Red River in Grand Forks. I would love for my canoe to make it all the way to the Hudson Bay; what a journey it will have along the way! I hope it sees ducks, beavers, and deer on its way through North Dakota. I hope a child finds it as they are playing along the river bank and it makes their day. My hope is that they find the River of Dreams website and they bring it to their teacher to try this project in the classroom. I then hope the child launches the canoe back into the river to send it back on its journey. I hope it makes its way to Canada and sees polar bears. Winter will hit and it will get stopped in a snowbank until the following spring. As the snow melts my little canoe will make its way back into the river and continue to head toward the Hudson Bay. It will get found by a few more people and launched back into the river. After many years it will arrive at the Hudson Bay and the journey will be complete.
