My canoe starts at the Maple River and goes to the Hudson Bay. Once it's in the river it hits some rocks and is damaged. It meets beavers making dams and they are confused and startled. Some of them swim away and some are curious so they swim to it to check it out. After 4 hours it finally gets to the Sheyenne River. It hears birds chirping and one lands on it and pecks at it then flies away. Two hours later it's in the Red River. After 4 days it meets some fish and they swim away quickly after meeting it. Then it starts raining and the water is brown and murky. Later it stops raining and a girl comes up to the canoe and picks it up. She thinks it's a toy so she takes it to her house to play with it. She shows it to her dad who fixes up all the scrapes and damage. He asks where did you get it. She says I found it in the Red River. The dad throws it back in the water. Awhile later it gets to Lake Winnipeg and meets a walleye. After 3 more weeks it has finally made it to Hudson Bay.
