Patriot is on a journey. He begins his trip at the Tongue River. He is happy that he gets to see new things and maybe even meet new people. He is happy that he is going up the river. There was a mother deer and her baby laying in the shade of the trees. Just ahead I can see the town of Cavalier. He hears the children playing. Before he knew it is was the Red River he was on the Red River heading north. A few minutes later he almost gets stuck in a tree branches. He starts to feel lonely because there's no one around. Then he sees fishermen they are very friendly to him. They make him feel good inside. He was on the water for a long time now. He made it to Winnipeg. He has come a long way. He sees a big bridge. A little boy finds him on the bay covered in mud. The little boy takes him home to be his own
