One day a young girl made a little canoe she named it Paddle to the Sea. She put a special piece of paper with epoxy on top of it. She tossed it into the Two Rivers when it was frozen. When spring came the ice started to crack and melt. One day Paddle heard rushing water from a beautiful waterfall nearby. There were fish jumping in the water and birds flying in the air. Today was a warm day for Paddle she was finally moving free on the river. A few weeks later two fishermen picked Paddle up. They saw a paper on Paddle and read it. The note said If you find me toss me back into the river I'm Paddle to the sea I would like to keep traveling on my special Journey. It was getting late so they kept Paddle overnight and I got tossed back into the river the next day. A few hours later after they tossed me back in I heard a bunch of eagles flying above me. Two days later I started to flow into the Red River. Later I was twisting and turning it was turning into a massive storm The wind was blowing and water was rushing then Paddle heard a bunch of animals rushing toward her. They looked like they had never seen a storm before. The animals ran into the water so fast it made a huge wave it had splashed on Paddle turning her upside down. She stayed like that for a long time later that day the storm had finally calmed down. Then the animals went back on land. It was dark out and really quiet so I heard a Loon calling out to the breathtaking beautiful Northern Lights. The next morning Paddle saw a beaver dam and saw there were six beavers but two of them were on it. The two beavers were finding food while the other two were building their house. One of them smacked their tail on the water just then a fox ran by chasing a mouse. Paddle was happy she wasn't that mouse because the fox ate the mouse. Later she went to Lake Winnipeg then a little girl came in the water. She picked me up and brought me to her house. Her dad put a fresh coat of paint on me they kept me overnight. The next day they brought me farther down the lake. Then Paddle went on the Nelson River. Later that week she hit Hudson Bay. Paddle was finally able to flow down the channel into the Atlantic Ocean. After Paddles long journey of being in all of the rivers meeting a new family and seeing all of the animals Paddle had finally made it to Greenland. A little girl picked up Paddle. Paddle got to be with a new family. The little girl was so excited to have her own Paddle. My Paddle finally ended her journey with a new little girl and her family.
Thank you for listening to my Paddle story.
