One early morning a young boy was going to the Tongue River by the town of Akra and west of Cavalier to put his canoe T.K. in the water in hopes of making it to the great Hudson bay. Once T.K. was in the water he heard the sound of a Western Meadowlark chirping in the trees. He also saw a boy playing football by a boxelder tree. Once T.K. made it to Cavalier he saw a girl and her Dad fishing on a big bridge above the river. When he finally made it out of Cavalier It was night and he heard the sound of wolves howling with the wind. For the next few weeks he traveled on the Tongue River until he reached the small town of bathgate where T.K. saw a snapping turtle floating in the water. After a few days T.K. reached the Tributary of the Pembina River and the town of Pembina where he saw a car Rumbling over a bridge. Finally he reached the Red River which carried him across the CanadaUSA border and into Canada. In Canada he saw a tall line of oak trees. In a couple of very long months he reached the big city of Winnipeg When T.K. arrived he smelled lots of good food. He heard lots of noisy trucks. He also saw a bunch of people walking on a bike path . Then he was on lake Winnipeg. He floated for several months and saw fish like lake trout. Then he finally made it to Hudson Bay There he saw polar bears lichens caribou a grizzly bear and a moose. T.K. had finally made it and accomplished the dream.
