Their once was a girl who was on a walk by the river and had the idea to make a canoe and launch it in the Tongue River.She went back home and on her way home she saw a mama wolf and her pups and a stray cat. It made her curious about the things her canoe would see. When she got back home she started to carve out a canoe.After she was finished she named the canoe June.Then she wroteplease put me back in water on the bottom of the canoe.The next day the girl set off to let June go on her journey. Once she was in the water June made her way to the Pembina River. When she went through the river she saw yellow perchand smallmouth bass.She also saw a mama redtailed hawk flying to her nest high in a bur oak.June was tired from a long day so she went to sleep. When she woke up she was in Lake Winnipeg.While she was there she smelled foodgasand the fresh air of the city of Winnipeg.The next stop was Hudson Bay.The next day she woke up to the smell of saltHudson Bay She finally made it June thought about the girl who made her.And finally said I hope she will be happy.And she was reader she was.
