On an early Sunday morning.a student went west of cavalier so he could launch his canoe chicken wing into the tongue river.once chicken wing got dropped in to the water he was off on his journey. The student was sad.he didnt want to let go of his canoeall the hard work but now he was off on his journey .When chicken was floating down the riverhe saw a few turkey vultures flying above himhe was amazed.he could hear all the amazing sounds the blue jays singing and the wood ducks quacking.then when he was looking at aa whitetailed deer a river otter leaped out of the water and flew over chicken wing.then he realized that he was coming close to cavalier when he was going through cavalier he saw a kid playing in the river .The kid saw him so he picked him upland looked at the bottom and it said put me back in the water. The kid put chicken wing back in the water so now he was back to his journey.after a little bit of time he came across the tiny town of bathgate .He saw a school of dorsal finthey were cool.He loved the pretty ironwood and cottonwood trees the leaves were mesmerizing .chicken wing loved his amazing journey.chicken wing heard cars and thought that maybe there was a town near him and once he got closer he realized that it was pembina so he thought he was also in the pembina river.up ahead he saw something brown and there were things moving around it.it was a beaver dam.The beavers were so prettybut all of a sudden he got picked up by a beaverThe beaver brought chicken wing to his dam and then put him in it.Chicken Wing was confused. He had never actually seen a beaver dam but now he was part of one.He was stuck there for five days.then out of nowhere a storm came crashing down smashing the dam into pieces and sending chicken wing flying down the river.soon after he had reached the Red River. The RedRiver wasnt the most exciting Chicken Wing saw a few screech owls flyinga turkey in the bushes a school of wabashand a patch of wild juneberries.other than that there wasnt much but it would all get bigger when he reached giant lake winnipeg. In lake winnipeg as he was floating down the calm river he saw a Johnny darter fish.He loved it it was so pretty with the glistening water the beautiful animals and the warm summer breeze .He was now in the middle of Lake Winnipeg It was humongousHe couldnt see any land .It was like he was in the ocean which is where he wished he was but he knew that he would make it there soon he would have to just push through. While he was floating through the lake he saw something moving at him it was really fast.It was a boatThe boat came flying at Chicken Wing but then the boat stopped and the person driving it got up and walked to the edge and picked up Chicken Wing.He Thought it looked good so he gave it to his kid and his kid was actually the students best friend and he did the project too so he knew what Chicken Wing was trying to get to.He told his dad and he brought Chicken Wing to the Nelson River. The Nelson River was amazing better than all the lakes and rivers combined. The water glistened in the hot summer sun the cool breeze felt like a clam day in the Spring and the birds were singing their morning song.It was astonishing. He couldnt get enough of itHe just wanted to stay there and enjoy all of it but he knew his mission was to get to Hudson Bay which was the hard part.Right now it really didnt seem that hard to Chicken Wing so he just floated along the calm and peaceful river. But then he realized that he was wrong about it being easy once a giant walleye came splashing through the water. Then the walleye swallowed Chicken WingChicken Wings Didn't think that the walleye could live too long with a minicanoe in its stomach. He was right.Just two hours later the walleye died and the walleyes mouth opened so he floated out so now he is back on his journey. He was kind of close to Hudson Bay because the walleye was swimming down the river while he was in it.He was now getting excited because he wanted to see the stuff that the student had told him about like beluga whales polar bears and caribou.after a while those dreams were coming true.He was now in Hudson BayHe was amazedIt was really big.It was just water as far as the eye could see.The only land he could see was the land behind him and when he looked behind himself he saw some wild arctic poppies and a patch of wild shrub willows. Then he looked down and saw a walrus swimming below him.He was so happy he had finally reached Hudson Bay.his journey was finally over but he could now go anywhere he wanted so that is what he would do.THE END
