A student was going to Icelandic State Park with her canoe Wildfire. Wildfire was happy to see animals and plants. The student launched Wildfire in the water and Wildfire started her journey. Wildfire was in the Tongue River for a while. She saw a river otter swimming with her pack. Then she saw turkeys and bald eagles. Then she hit Cavalier. She saw buildings and trains.
Then Wildfire met Bathgate. She saw footprints. They were raccoon footprints. Then she hit the Pembina River. Then Wildfire saw Pembina. Wildfire saw a beaver dam with beavers. There was a whitetailed deer with a baby fawn. Wildfire saw a blue jay in the trees. Wildfire also saw catfish in the Pembina River. She saw a northern pike swimming by her. Wildfire saw so many different kinds of trees like juneberry woodbine green ash American elm cottonwood box elder American cranberry ironwood bur oak and so many others.
Now Wildfire came to the Red River. Wildfire saw more bald eagles. In the trees she also saw fox squirrels. Wildfire saw turkey vultures circling around in the sky. She thought there might be something dead that they were going to eat. Wildfire looked in the water and saw freshwater minnows looking for food. Wildfire also saw orange spotted sunfish. Then she went up a little bit and heard the water roaring. Wildfire figured out that it was a waterfall. Wildfire fell down the waterfall and went under but she got right back up to the surface again and started her journey again. Wildfire saw more fish like a smallmouth bass and a paddle fish.
Then Wildfire reached Winnipeg. The city was so large Wildfire could not believe it Then Wildfire was in Lake Winnipeg. She saw so many different kinds of fish. Wildfire met Hudson Bay. She was so close to the Atlantic Ocean Wildfire saw caribou and an Artic fox with her cubs. Wildfire also saw a Beluga whale Blue whale and she saw a walrus Wildfire finally got to the Atlantic Ocean. Wildfire finally made her dream come true.
