Abigail was carrying her canoe Persheone. Persephone was very excited and prideful. As her owner launched her into the waters of the Tongue River she took a leap of faith into the shallow foggy waters. She was heading to Cavalier then she saw something very interesting a family of wild turkeys. She was soon at Cavalier and suddenly she found a friend A curious raccoon was following her right into Cavalier. Now Persephone was in the waters of the Pembina Riveras she was heading to Pembina she saw a dragonfly and on her as well as a western chorus frog making music. Now the waters are widening maybe it's the red river She headed through forests of bur oaks box elders and cottonwood trees. Then she saw something extraordinary a bald eagle the bird of North America. She was a little scared that the eagle was going to grab her as its prey. Luckily the eagle aimed at a smallmouth bass instead. She was getting closer and closer to Hudson bay right in the urban city of Winnipeg. And those smells made her overwhelmed but she kept going. Persehone was finally here She has reached Hudson Bay but her adventure wasn't over yet her biggest obstacle was coming right at her A little boy. Persephone was worried he would add her to his collection of toys since he already was picking her up. But suddenly he put her back of course Her message Please put me back in the water. Another little friend accompanied her on her journey now a playful seal. He was busy eating a fish he found. Arctic poppies moss and cottongrass surrounded this area. Persephone didn't know there were arctic poppies and black bears living in Hudson Bay She was also a little cold but this adventure was worth it. Soon it turned to the afternoon. A snowy owl picked her up gently with its sharp claws but Persephone didn't notice because she was dozing off and busy falling asleep. But then the snowy owl suddenly dropped her. Luckily she landed in the water. Although the fall was a little painful. After five years Persephone ended up in Paris France. Her paint had faded and washed away and she rested in quiet peace. She had accepted her fate of being in an artist's stand forever sleeping only her knowing how she had the adventure of her life.
