There once was a girl and that girl had a friend a canoe. A canoe named Haidlynn. The girl and her class and all of their canoe friends went to a river the Tongue River. And launched their canoes away off to the Hudson Bay. Once they were on their own they went with the current occasionally bumping into each other. Then they went off on their own. Haidlynn was flown into a town named Cavalier In a little woody area with some nice scenery a bluebird or two and a couple of eagles loud but nice birds. Then they started investigating and they were not nice birds anymore. At first it was fine standing on the edge of land looking at her. But the bluebirds were the worst. Chirping pestering and pecking at her. She tried to get away but couldnt. Eventually they stopped but not without a couple of breaks and cuts and marks. A few days later. Haidlynn flowed into Pembina. On the Pembina river. She saw a few Northern Pike and some American frogs. A frog jumped onto Haidlynn. Causing her to get stuck on the shore stranded. With no help available. A dew days passed along with some turkey. But still no help was available. Finally a family found her. A little girl picked her up and threw her back into the river. So on went her journey to the Hudson. Gently and sometimes roughly flowing with the winds and rivers. In the country it was pretty boring. She saw a moose or two a fish and an eagle. ANd not to forget those annoying fishermen who would pick her up and stare and sometimes pick her out of the water until they left Then there was Winnipeg. So she was no longer in the U.S.A. Nothing really happened in Winnipeg or in the Nelson River. Other than a beaver thinking she was a stick and putting her in its dam. She flowed into the Hudson. Finally she had made it to the Hudson Bay But was this the end of her journey but you dear reader. You can imagine whatever you want to believe
