Next Pearl saw a strong beaver in the river dam. Pearl also saw a waterfowl with many yellow babies following its mother.
When Pearl left the Pembina River she headed into Bathgate and met a fisherman by getting caught by a net. The fisherman picked up Pearl and told her he would show his daughter. But then the fisherman saw that it said Please put me back in the water. on the bottom of the canoe so he decided to write From Bathgate North Dakota. So the canoe said Please put me back in the water From Bathgate North Dakota.
When Pearl left she passed Pembina the red river saw racoons aspen trees and got covered in lichens.
Pearl met another canoe who was Pearl's friend sandy. They decided to go to the Atlantic Ocean together. Pearl and her friend saw that their dream came true.
