My Canoe will make it all the way to Hudson's Bay. I hope it sees the bright lights of Winnipeg and meets a beaver. Along the way my canoe's journey will be adventurous.
At First Paddle sits quietly on top of the thick sticky mud of the dried up river bed. Surrounded by slimy weeds and white and brown puffy cattails. Blue Jays swooping down just to look at the small wooden canoe. Chubby cheeked chipmunks coming out of hibernation and coming to look at paddle.
After a few hours It started to rain and rain and rain until it started to flood and Paddle started to begin this journey down the river. A few minutes later Paddle met a beaver dam. Then a beaver came and thought he was a log so the beaver started to chomp at Paddle but then he realized that paddle wasn't a log and then dropped him back in the river. After a bit Paddle met a fisherman trying to catch fish with his net for his cat. When paddle got closer the fisherman realized that paddle wasn't a fish and scooped paddle up. The fisherman saw that there was something at the bottom of the canoe and it said. If I'm out of the water return me back. So he return paddle back to the river and he started his journey again.
Later Paddle met a pelican and the pelican swooped down and picked up Paddle with his beak. After a few hours the pelican found his nest in Hudson's Bay. When they made it to the nest the pelican dropped Paddle into his nest but missed it and Paddle dropped into Hudson's Bay.
