My canoe will make it all the way to Lake Winnipeg. I hope it sees a beaver dam and meets a fisherman or a boat. Along the way my canoes journey will be dazzling.
At first Paddle sits quietly on top of the thick sticky mud of the dried up river bed. Cover in dark mud that is holding him from going into the river. Then he is released and the water is filled with green slimy seaweed and algae all around him. There are big fluffy cattails laying on the side of the riverbank. Birds are chirping as the sun sets and it is becoming spring. The snakes are coming out from hibernation and they are hungry. As they sneak through the tall grass out comes the frogs. The last birch tree branches are defrosting and the color of the trees are coming back.
Before long he is gilding down the river and he is zooming because the little drops in the river. Then he saw a waterfall ahead and he flew off down it into the water. He was under the waterfall and then splashed up onto a pile of rocks. There was a family taking pictures till they saw Paddle and lifted him off the rocks and released him back into the river. Paddle went through some weeds and got stuck. Paddle was now stuck and then a ginormous wave came and lifted him down the stream. Paddle was finally down the river and he appeared to be on Lake Winnipeg when a pelican came and scooped him up. Paddle was in the air he was dropped in Lake Ontario and then got caught in a fish net.
Later he ended up in a town and was getting put into a delivery truck. Paddle was with a bunch of fish and it was stinky till Paddle was unloaded and he was put onto the beach where a bunch of little kids came running by and picked up Paddle and put him in the water and they were playing with him. This is where Paddle's journey ends.
