My canoe will make it all the way to Hudson bay. I hope it sees a waterfall and meets a polar bear. Along the way my canoe journey will be unique.
At first the paddle sits quietly on top of the thick sticky mud of the dried up river bed. As it is surrounded by weeds and bright green reeds and tiny minnows swimming around. The shallow creek makes it hard to move along as you see frog eggs around Paddle.
It gets caught in a fishermans big fishing net and gets swapped up and the fisherman throws it back in the river. Then it gets picked up by a pelican's massive bill and spits it up and gives it a boast. Then it passes a farm in a nearby river. Next it gets stuck in some sand and a little kid finds it and puts it back in the river.
Lastlythe boat is making its way to Hudson bay but it gets stuck in Lake Winnipeg for the winter. When the ice melted Paddle got picked up by a kid and kept for a while. A few months later the kid released Paddle into the water. Then it kept getting stuck on branches weeds and more. Finally it got to Hudson bay after a long journey.
