Spring 2025 Splash My creator tossed me in the Sandhill River in Fertile Minnesota. It was a lot colder than I had expected. I was off on my journey. I can hear my creator yell Bye Lexi I hope you reach the Atlantic Ocean Well I guess my name is Lexi and all Im worried about is if I am going to make it through this thunder or not. The thunder sounds like the clouds are mad. Well its morning and Im still in one piece. It's beautiful. I can see deer. It has two long antlers and a whitetail. It looked very pretty. I also saw a squirrel that had a very fluffy tail. I saw some other animals too. I tipped over and I saw a fish. It looked very slimy and creepy and it scared me. I almost had a heart attack but I got to my normal side again. I felt kind of lonely out by myself. Summer 2025 Its summer and I made it to the Red River. The sun was warm on me. It wasnt long before someone came and picked me up. I could tell it was a good man with the twinkles in his eye and his rough hands. When he saw me he said Oh my What have we got here Then he brought me to his house. His house looked like it had been used for many years. When we got inside he looked at me and said in a soft grunt Well I better put you back in the water so you can get back to your journey. The next day on his way to work he dropped me in the water. I felt kind of sad leaving him. I was back in the water and I saw a rock. It looked rough and sharp but there was no time to talk about it. I was just being kind just so you know Mrs. Rock. It started heading right towards me Then the rock hit me I felt like I was going to break in two But I wobbled my way out. Fall 2025 Its fall and Im in Lake Winnipeg There are leaves in the water and on land. I tipped over and saw a turtle. It looked slimy like it was a slip n slide. But I tipped the right side over again. I was just minding my own business when a dog came and picked me up I was covered in slobber and dripping in drool. He brought me to his house and sat me in front of his owner who was a girl and she said Wow Where did this come from She looked at me and said that I looked rusty so she decided to paint me. When she was done I looked brand new. Bright pink I loved my new look But out of nowhere a golf ball came and hit me It felt like it snapped me in half I hope I didn't chip my paint but I can't talk now. It's pouring out here Winter 20252026 It's almost winter. It's colder and the water is almost frozen over. I hope I can make it through this. Today I was frozen in the water and some little girl was ice skating and saw me and said Hey You must be cold I'll take you back to my place for the winter. With a soft grin she pulled me out of the water and took me back to her place. She showed me to her parents. Her parents looked at me and said You can keep her till it's spring or until the water melts so she can continue her journey. The little girl agreed and every night she tucked me under her bed. Every night I tried to look for the stars and if I did see them they looked like they were dancing. She would also bring me with her wherever she would go until the water melted. When she had to let me go she cried and cried. Soft warm tears fell on me. She reluctantly put me in and I was off on my journey again. It made me feel sad thinking about her. Guess what It's my lucky day I feel so happy I saw a polar bear and a seal The only negative part was that it tasted salty and I think that means I made it to the Atlantic Ocean I have been in the water for more than three months and made so many friends along the way and I'm just getting started
