Whoosh I am off in the Sand Hill River in Fertile Minnesota Make it a long journey my owner exclaimed. I saw a lot of red orange and yellow flowers. They looked like fire but with green stems. It was so cool to see the flowers bloom. I was looking for gold but didnt have much luck. I did find a golden colored fish. The suns reflection made it look very bright. The fish gave me a nice warm and welcoming feeling. I made it to Grand Forks. On my way I hit a strong current. I could feel the wind blowing a nice breeze. It was so hot it felt like 100 degrees. I saw a wild fire and I could feel the warm heat coming from it. I thought I was going to throw up. I saw a bunch of animals in the water. I felt so bad for them. I wished I couldve helped the animals get out of the water. I was trying to fish and I got a 22 inch Northern pike. I was so excited and proud of myself. I felt like I could do anything after doing that. That night I started to get hungry so I decided to eat the pike that I caught. The next morning I found myself stuck in a fallen log but there was a person walking by so I asked if he could help me get unstuck. His name was Bill. He helped me and said Have a nice trip I made it to Winnipeg in Canada. I saw a lot of hockey players and hockey stores. That night the stars were dancing in the night sky. It started with a little chill then the leaves started to fall off the trees looking so cool and pretty. I was fishing and I was actually very surprised that I caught a bunch of fish in the river. I knew what I was going to be eating that night. I looked at my thermometer and it was 68 degrees. There was a big gust of wind and I flipped over. After that I was soaking wet and cold. I had to stop because I had to build a fire to make me warm. The next day I decided to go fishing and I was going through a huge culvert. At the end of the culvert it was snowing. The water was turning into ice. I made it to Lake Winnipeg. It was frozen solid. I could even skate on the ice. I was more than halfway done with my journey to get to the Nelson River. The next day I made it to the Nelson River. I was so happy and excited. I couldnt believe I had made it. My Great Journey
