Boom A canoe landed on me Crack I am split a little but I am still going on an adventure to the Atlantic Ocean It is very beautiful and green. I see some bubbles in the water. Oh Its a fish A very BIG fish The fish dives deep into the water where I cant see it.
I glance toward the shore and I see deer eating grass. I am halfway through the Sandhill River. As the sun sets I hear a rustling in the bush. I cant see what it is. I hear scratching on the tree bark then I hear lapping. What could it be I see a snout. Could it be a black bear Indeed it is I hear a train honking in the distance. I must be close to a town Boom Crash In the morning I am in Beltrami.
There was a huge stick in my path. The stick knocked me off course and into the culvert. It was very difficult to see.
The next morning I woke and I was in someones hand. It was very bright outside. He said Where are you from Then he turned me over and read the message I am Paddle to Hudson Bay. If you find me put me back in the river. So he put me back in the Sandhill River and my journey continued. The man said Goodbye and good luck with your journey
The next morning I was in a creek that was very stinky but beautiful. I heard a tractor in the distance. I must be close to Climax The sun was setting beautifully with blues and oranges in it. I woke up early to see the stars shining. After an hour the sun rose. The flowers were blooming and the days got longer and it got hotter. I saw a town in the distance. It must be Climax There were a lot of tractors. A man saw me and picked me up and asked Where are you from
I am Paddle to the Atlantic Ocean. If you find me please put me back in the river.
Well have a nice journey to the Atlantic Ocean And he put me back in the river. I was continuing my journey to the Atlantic Ocean.
It was getting cold out and the leaves were falling and turning colors. It was getting dark out and the stars were dancing around.
In the morning I saw a fishing boat and it caught a lot of fish. I was worried that it would accidentally catch me in the net. And it did. The fishermen did not see me. It was stinky The fish would be laughing at me if they were alive. They would have said That guy is not a fish. Why is he in here About two hours later the fisherman suddenly found me in the net. The man asked What are you doing in the net He grabbed me out of the net and said What is your name
I am Paddle to the sea.
Well I guess I should go and put you in the water for your journey to the Atlantic Ocean. Bye for now and good luck with your journey to the Atlantic Ocean. The fisherman left and I was back on my journey to the Atlantic.
The current was getting stronger and the river was getting wider. It was getting colder and it seemed that the water was freezing up. I was in the Red River and I was stuck in the ice. It was very cold. I was going to be in here for awhileat least until SPRING.
The next day I woke up and I was unstuck. I was in a house. Then I saw a kid. I was in a kids house. The kid said It is SPRING so I can let you go now He let me back in the river. And he said goodbye. Well that was over now.
I am on my journey again. It is getting very dark out. The stars are shining brightly. The river has gotten so big. I am in Lake Winnipeg. The river is so dirty that I cant even see the bottom of the lake. I see another canoe my friend. It is getting dark out. The Atlantic Ocean is about three weeks away. The water is getting saltier. I am in Hudson Bay. I am getting ready for the next day which will lead me to the salty ocean.
My hopes are destroyed I grumbled. I am in another house on a shelf with toys. I dont see any people around I said. The door opened. I saw a child walking in the door. I despise you I said.
Then the child said Time to play outside.
No. I am outside in the grass. Then the boy tripped and I was flying out to the water. And I heard the boy wailing. So long. It feels so good that I am in the water and reaching my destination.
