My name is Rose and Im trying to make my way to the Atlantic Ocean. I am traveling with 24 other canoes. It will be so fun My journey starts in May of 2025 at the Sand Hill River in Fertile Minnesota. I have a bunch of flowers drawn on me. I look really good. I hope to see cool things on my way like bears foxes deer fish and whales. This is going to be so fun Come on my journey with meI am almost to the edge of Fertile. I saw so many animals like birds bear fish and guess what else The trees are starting to bud and it's getting very warm. At least I have the water to cool me down. I see a sign. What does it say Oh Welcome to Beltrami Yay Ive made it to another town and whats that Ah A fish Eww fish slime That fish hit me right in the face I got pushed back behind a rock from that But then the current pushed me back on my journey. Well I will just have to keep going Hi again It is now fall and Im reaching Climax. There are so many leaves in the water I can barely see the bottom Wait what is that A little canoe with lilies on it Wait it's my friend from the Sandhill River Lilly Now I wont be alone on my journey. I hope we stay together Oh no We hit a branch Woah Im spinning around and around Oofda that was a lot but now Im back on my journey. It's been so long since Ive been released. I cant remember what day it is I think its Friday. Anyways why did this water changeit's all brown. Lilly why is it brown Rose its from the mud at the bottom of the river. Lilly said. Oh I said. Wait now we're in a new river The Red River I hope I can get to Grand Forks soon No Lilly She got picked up by a dog This is not a good way to end this part of the story. Uh oh Now I got picked up by a dog. I guess dogs really like canoes or maybe they thought we were sticks. Hey Put me back down Finally he put me back. Eww Im all slobbery Oh no Some of my color washed off of me. I'm now a pinkish color. Woah I'm in Grand Forks and a new state Theres like a million people here The current here is so fast Im spinning around and around Oh hi fishy. Ahh I forgot Im still spinning 20 min later now Im done spinning that made me nauseous. Well let's keep moving. Brr Its so cold I cant believe it's still winter I should tell you guys about this I saw a HUGE black bear He tried to eat me I cant believe that guy. Anyways it's been like 7 months since I've released and I made it to a new country Canada It isnt very colorful anymore it's all white and brown. But I did see some colorful snow gear snowmen and a lot of Christmas cheer. Well I guess I should keep going now It is still winter and I have seen something really cool again A beaver den The beavers name is Chloe. She let me stay in her den for the night it's so warm in her den. I see another sign It says Welcome to Winnipeg There are so many people here I heard the population is 700000 Oh Someone picked me up Dont tell me it's a dogYes Its not a dog Hi there The person said Oh what does this say Oh to put you back in the water I better let you continue your journey Woah This is big Did I did I make it Oh no its just Lake Winnipeg. I mean we're kinda close just a little longer What.isthat A creepy fish ahhhh Oh Lilly I wish we stayed together Wow He bit me Im not food you fish I have a bite mark on my canoe now This isnt good Well let's keep going. Why is it so little Are we back to a river Oh I know this river its the Nelson River Im so glad its spring I can finally see some color I dont have any color left on me but thats ok Oh and I made a fish friend named Missy. Shes really nice and friendly to me. Her and I are both going to make it to the Atlantic together Well my journey should keep going now. Woah Ive made it to the Hudson Bay Eww the water tastes salty Missy agrees with me. Im so happy I made it to the bay I am so close to the Atlantic I wonder how far Lilly has made it. I also hope Chloe the beaver is doing ok. Well lets keep going on this journey. YES I HAVE MADE IT THE BIG ATLANTIC OCEAN Missy we did it Yay Missy said. Im so tired after this long journey it was amazing.
