Hi Im Fiona. Im traveling with my BFF Sherek. We are starting at the Sandhill River in Fertile MN. Im going to try to make it to the Atlantic Ocean but if I dont make it I'll hopefully make it to Hudson Bay. I will be going through a lot of places. There will be swamps and lakes and one ocean. My owner and her friends will be dropping their canoes into the water to start our journey. After two months of wind and flopping over me and Sherek made it to Beltrami. Theres a lot of trees and theres a lot of cars driving by too. I get taken by a dog Sherek gets taken by an otter. Finally I get dropped off next to Sherek. Ew Im so slobbery and wet. Then we made it to Climax. We saw a lot of animals. Like wolves and I think one was a fox and a skunk. There was a lot of wind and I mean a lot. So we got pushed to the Red River fast. The water was really muddy. There's a lot of trees. Theres a branch in the water probably from the crazy wind. Then I saw Billy. Its winter and Im sliding AH. And Billy was sliding on the ice too. But now hes under the iceoh wait a minute hes still traveling with us I see a bridge and theres cars driving on it. After two months of traveling I made it to Grand Forks. Ooo its a city. Theres always so many trees but now I see buildings. The Pearl my new friend is slowing down Then The Pearl said Fiona I have a hole in me just leave me I will miss you. Bye bye. I said. Then he started to sink... AH theres a bear This journey is really sad After two months I made it to Canada. Its now spring The water is muddy and there's a lot of trees. I even saw a beaver And get this the Pearl is back. EW there's black stuff in the water. I think its mud but it could be bad chemicals In about 5 months I had made it through lake Winnipeg and the Nelson River. Theres barely any trees this time. There's sand and I see a fox in the distance. Im just glad it's summer. Oh its foggy out. Were now at Hudson Bay. Im super close to the Atlantic Ocean I feel like I can taste the salty water. I see some kids. But when I was distracted OH NO I got taken by a beaver. Oh phew Im back. And Im actually back at the Atlantic Ocean The journey was long stressful scary beautiful and fun. But now my journey is done.
