Im Lilly and Im starting my adventure today. I am going to start at the Sand Hill River in Fertile MN. My goal is to get to the Atlantic Ocean if I am lucky. Right now it is spring of 2025. I bet I will see a lot of animals along the way
I have begun my journey now. I just floated into Beltrami. There are houses almost everywhere. It is my first night so not a lot of people are here right now. Well it is still spring but almost summer. I am out of Beltrami now. Oh I see a deer and I think it's a doe. I see a storm in the distance too Ah Now it's raining Its so cold. This is not a good way to start my journey. I see a sign that says Welcome to Climax Now it is summer. Its so nice and warm. But I have the water that is cooling me off Oh I see a boat With roses on it Waitthat is my friend Rose Yay now I won't be alone. I hope we will stay together Oh no we hit a branch Woah Im spinning around and around. Oofta that was a lot let's continue our journey.
Its been 4 months since I have been sent off and we are in a new river now. I think it is called the Red River. Ew this water is so muddy. Well now its fall so the leaves are falling. Yay its raining leaves Its so cold. But hey we are in a new town Theres a sign that says Welcome to Grand Forks. There are so many people here Lets keep going. Yay It's been so long since I last saw my owner. Oh no A dog grabbed meew Its so slobbery. He took me away from RoseGoodbye Rose I will always love you I think we are in a new country Canada Its so white in Canada. Ooh I see more deer. Its been 7 months now. Lets keep going. I hope that I will get to see Rose again. Its so cold and my paint is all chipped off and I am not colorful anymore Oh Another sign says Welcome to Winnipeg. Theres so many buildings in Winnipeg. I see a really scary fish it's coming closer and closer. I wish that Rose was still here The water feels much warmer now because its spring and we are in Lake Winnipeg Its taking so long to get to the Atlantic Ocean but Im not giving up. I see a Moose. Its antlers are huge. We are in a new season and a new place or I should say a new river. The season is summer it's so warm and the river is the Nelson River. Theres trees surrounding me everywhere. They are so tall and big and also green. I really hope I get to see my owner again. Its been a while since Ive seen her. The water feels different and tastes differentI wonder why A new destination just arrived. Its so salty and big. Hudson Bay theres so much water its everywhere What's over there It's a polar bear and it looks so fuzzy and warm. Its getting windyAh I am tipping over here we go Im guessing its fall now that's why its getting colder. Lets continue our journey What's that over there It looks like a lighthouse. I wonder where we are There is water all around me. I wish that Rose was still here. My trip has been so scary without her. She would love it here I hope she makes it here too Yay I finally made it We are in the Atlantic Ocean.
