I bet my canoe is going to go farther No mine said Opal and Leah. They were on the side of the Wild Rice River. Dinner is ready said their father. As they went inside it started to storm. Wait our canoes are still out there said Leah. It's too dangerous outside we will have to look tomorrow. That night Leah's boat hit a near by log and cracked in half. Opal's however fell into the river and started it's journey. The next morning the girls came to look for thier canoes and unfortunately Leah found hers cracked upon a log. Opal however couldn't find hers. So they went insdie and tried to find somethign else to do. CanoesPoint of View The storm was crazy I hit debree in the water and went under water for a bit. When the storm finished I was sailing smoothly. I saw a moose deer fish and many people. I finally was on my way to the ocean Epilogue15 years later Opal and Leah were now 15 and on their way to Florida. They were on the beach when they noticed something. What's that said Leah. I don't know. Opal said. So they went to check it out It was a canoe They flipped it upside down and read the name Opal Moody It's my canoe from 10 years ago exclaimed Opal. They then brought it home and played in the river just like whe nthey were little.
