Hi My name is Minsin. Say it like meensheen not min sin. Ever since I was a baby Ive always wanted to go to Hudson Bay and see my other fellow canoes from cities like Grand Forks Emerson and Winnipeg. When I start my adventure in late spring of 2025 from Fargo on the Red River the very first thing I want to see is a beautiful oak tree. After that I hope to see a beaver. Ive heard that beavers are friendly to children canoes like me. Then I want to see a human I dont care what gender or how old it is I just want to see those talking things up close. Even though canoes dont talk I feel like my parent canoes do when they show me compassion and love. Then I hope the beaver will lead me across Norman County and then see a magnificent field of sugar beets. Who knows maybe a turkey will join us in the process Before summer ends I want to see a morning dove gliding through the sky. Afterwards I want to meet a walleye and a smallmouth bass. Then as spring ends and flowers are blooming I want to enter Grand Forks and pass a legendary purple prairie clover Then I will see a birch tree on my way to Pembina County as I sing with a bigmouth bass. A large mouth comes with a large voice Hopefully after a couple months I will cross the Canadian border. During the ending of fall after I pass the city of Emerson I am determined to see a giant moose. Then I will hear a loud caw caw Looking up I will see the National bird of the United States of America a bald eagle Though I dread it I fear I may get picked up by a careless boy playing in the breezy fall air. After that I will see a beaver and a muskrat before I reach Winnipeg. Once I reach Lake Winnipeg I hope to have a long nice ride along the fresh water. Then I will have another long nice ride through the Nelson River Once I reach Hudson Bay it will probably be almost winter. Once I finally arrive in Hudson Bay I dont have any plans I will go wherever the current takes me.
