Canoe 25RD0885

There I was 12 years old in Fargo about to drop my canoe into the Red River in Cass County on April 12 2025. As it goes I hope River Runner gets to Antarctica eventually. Along the way a group of walleye swim by. I hope my canoe sees a couple of birch trees on the journey. By next week it should pass East Grand Forks. And pass by a group of minnows. The canoe may also encounter some bats and a musky too. I hope as River Runner sails along a snapping turtle doesn't eat it. Later on as it passes by my favorite city of Pembina in Pembina County I wish I was there to take a quick lunch break at Foxy Roxys diner. 4 weeks later my canoe reaches the border of the USA. Good thing I sent along a current passport for River Runner to show the border patrol By next spring River Runner reaches Pikwitonei Canada and passes by a field of wild rice. I hope it sails by a sea urchin. 5 weeks later would be the best time to see a polar bear. 2 months after that River Runner reaches Lake Winnipeg. The next big body of water it will pass is the Nelson river. These river banks should have flocks of snow geese as the canoe sails by. When winter arrives River Runner will probably get stuck in the ice for the entire winter. When spring comes I am optimistic my canoe will start moving again. The Manitoba maple trees will be very pretty in spring. I pray that River Runner will reach Hudson Bay about 4 weeks after that. Then once River Runner reaches Hudson Bay I hope it will graze some starfish. By 2028 it should float out of Hudson Bay into the North Atlantic Ocean. Many weeks later my canoe should round Brazil where it will pass some Toucan birds into the South Atlantic Ocean. The year is now 2031 and I am graduating High School. I wish for my canoe to finally reach the shores of Antarctica. I only hope that my canoe will be found by scientists and taken to an igloo for its final resting place
