My canoes name is West. I have many hopes and dreams for my canoe once I launch it. I hope it will someday reach Hudson Bay by way of Hudson Bay in May of 2025 when I launch West into the Red River from Fargo North Dakota I hope she will enjoy it. Hopefully it can travel along the muddy wooded banks of the Red River as it passes Oak Grove football field. Along the way West is going to run into a lot of bumps. The weather will change and West will see a bunch of animals that she has never seen before. The animals are squirrels white tailed deer rabbits and even moose I want West to explore a lot of places in the world like Cass County Clay County Grand Forks Kittson County Lake Winnipeg. Nelson River and eventually ending up at Hudson Bay. She will see lots of trees like an elm tree and an oak tree. The journey will all began in North Dakota. West will travel north on the Red River. She will run into a bunch of corn fields wheat fields and trees. West will see a bunch of bald eagles. and hawks. Then she will go into Grand Forks where she will see gold eyeNorthern pikes and trophy walleye fish along with seeing more bald eagles. On the journey toward Winnipeg there were a lot of bumps on the journey. It went through really bad storms low and high waters trees across the river were long and big which made West get stuck on a sandbar. After crossing the border it made it to Winnipeg. On its journey to Hudson Bay it ran and encountered more bumps. In a large lake with high winds and big waves she could not get out for months. She also ran into more interesting animals like black bears and moose. As West journeyed farther north she got closer and closer to her destination. Now that West is getting closer to the end the landscapes have changed from less crops to more trees and rocks. She reached Hudson Bay She can relax and check out the killer whales and the seals.
