My canoe's name is Little Canoe.I have many hopes and dreams for my canoe once I launch it. I hope it will someday reach Hudson Bay. When I launch Little Canoe into the Red River from Fargo I hope it will enjoy a smooth sailing ride with lots of beautiful nature and animals. In May of 2025 I hope in the start of its journey it sees a goose hiding behind an oak tree. I hope a northern pike jumps out of the water in front of me. As I travel through Cass County I hope it sees a field of sugar beets and a turkey running through them. Then if it reaches Grand Forks I hope a tiger muskie swims by it and I hope a skunk doesn't spray it. If it reaches Pembina I hope it sees pines and an otter swimming past it. If it reach Canada and makes it to Emerson I hope it sees a catfish swimming next to it. Then I hope it makes it to Lake Winnipeg. If it makes it to Norway House I hope it sees a polar bear walking beside it and a snow owl up in a tree.I hope it makes it to Nelson River then it will be so close to Hudson Bay. If it makes it to Hudson Bay it will be at its final destination.
