My canoes name is Chopped Chin. I have many hopes and dreams for my canoe once I launch it into the Red River. As I passed Moorhead I came across a little field of ripe potatoes fresh for picking. Soon I saw a bunch of trees that had fallen into the river and out of all those trees there was a huge burch tree which was holding all of the trees with it creating a dam. So I went through the smallest crack between the wood. A little bit later I arrived at Grand Forks Which led to a little rapid so I drifted into this beautiful river seeing a mourning dove chirping. Few hours passed nothing seemed to catch my eye until I saw my first sign that saidCANADAMANITOBA And then I ran into two counties Kittson and Pembina and next thing you know I see another border sign that said BORDER CROSSED NO FURTHER Instead of being a good citizen I just floated my way down to an unnoticeable steep riptide with schools of Carp. Later on I see a Mink waiting for the right time to catch a Fish. Passing down sharp turns I had seen a quick glimpse of a patch of Sugar Beets and some other Vegetables. On an Oak Tree there was a Golden Eagle looking over me like a Psycho. Two more hours go by I've seen nothing until I just floated into Winnipeg And came across a huge Kingfisher sitting on a thin branch. That night I couldn't see anything until I felt a whisker tickle me so I thought for a bit until I realized it must've been a Catfish which led to a Channel Fish. When the Sun was rising I saw something very disturbing it was a lamprey attached to a sturgeon sucking the blood and sucking the living out of that Sturgeon. Finally at last I made it to Hudson Bay yet I was tired but loved the adventure.
