Dream:

My name is South. I am a canoe who is trying to make it to the Hudson Bay from Crookston, MN. South is going to start the long journey from Crookston, MN by being launched in the Red Lake River during the early spring. A my journey. I am hoping to make it to the first stop, which will be Fisher, MN. Along the way I see fish swimming, people talking and people fishing. I have to hide so that those people wonՉ€™t pick me out of the water. As the wind increases, I get hit by waves and the the water even tries to stay in me. I rock back and forth in fear of turning over. Once I get most of the water out, I continue to go around all of the twists and turns. Off on the river bank I see some geese. All of a sudden, one of the geese seems to want to know more about me. They come to play with me. I got very scared. They have big beaks and are loud honkers. Second stop along the way is East Grand Forks and Grand Forks. As I pass through this area, I see people fishing, kids playing, a fish, a turtle, and many more creatures. I continue my way to the Canadian Border but the days and nights are long. I donՉ€™t have much hope that I am going to make it to Hudson Bay, but I will continue to try my best.
