JeffyՉ€™s Journey - My name is Jeffy the canoe. I will start in Crookston, Minnesota and I hope to make it to the Hudson Bay. My first town that I will float past will be Fisher then I will go to East Grand Forks and Grand Forks where the Red Lake River flows into the Red River. It will take months maybe even years to get there. I will see deer and a lot of birds. When it gets dark, I will see something scary moving along the shore. It will be a big black bear walking through the woods. When morning arrives, IՉ€™m glad as IՉ€™ve made it to East Grand Forks where IՉ€™m now still floating down the Red Lake River. ItՉ€™s going to be a nice day because itՉ€™s summer and the sun is rising. IՉ€™m hoping to get to the United States/Canadian Border within the next three weeks. On the way to Winnipeg, I see a animal, it looks like a deer sleeping on the grass with her baby! ItՉ€™s been two days and I am at Lake Winnipeg and there was a thump in the water. It was a catfish and it jumped out of the water. Then I saw a lot of white-tailed deer on the way to Nelson River I saw a beaver, a black bear and a stray cat. I felt bad for the cat as it looked like it was injured, but I couldn't help it. The black bear was very big and scary, but the white tailed deer looked majestic! And then I saw Hudson Bay. When I arrived it was cold. I saw a polar bear and was proud of myself because I made it to Hudson Bay.
