Hi, my name is Faith and this is my story, Day 1 I will be telling you about my life as a canoe. I will be getting launched in Crookston, Minnesota in the Red Lake River at Central Park. I am going to miss my friends when I leave because they were awesome friends. When I went in the Red Lake River it was flowing so fast it scared me as I got cold. I hope I will sail along the riverside and get to see a deer. I can smell the fishy water. It will be great to get to see my first town, Fisher but that will take a while because the water is very calm and the wind is very soft. I think it might take a day or so. I got so tired so I started to daze off. Then all of the sudden there was a noise it sounded like people were going to a concert then while I was looking around I saw light flashing and then came the music. But somehow I got to sleep. So I slept peacefully. Day 2 When I woke up I was somehow in Fisher , I have been thinking it would take at least another day or more but IՉ€™m here. I saw fish jumping out of the water and I saw a beautiful owl sitting in the tree! Day 3 I saw a turtle, I tried to get closer but the turtle went back in her shell and hid. I also heard the leaves rustling, Then I heard a LOUD splashing noise. It turned out to be the turtle diving in the water that I saw earlier! Day 4 I am finally to Grand Forks and got picked up by a little girl. I was scared as she held me then she and her family took photo of me. Day 5 I hope I will soon be at the United States/Canada border then will see a bunch of cars that want to go to Canada then will go through Lake Winnipeg and I will get picked up by a little girl. In the Nelson River it will be cool to see boys and girls when they are playing outside they might see me and pick me up. I got washed up on shore and was there all night long until 7:00 am because it was a bear that saved me and put me back in the water by 8:00. Day 6 I hope I will make it to Hudson Bay and see all the ice, I might get cold there but I don't care I might see my favorite animals. The polar bear and arctic fox at Hudson Bay. Day 7 It has been a week since I set sail on the river. Well I am going to get nap in since I was awake days 4,5,and 6.Good Night. Day 8 Good Morning,I had a nice and quiet nap I got to lake winnipeg and saw 5 deer next to the lake as i was in the lake it was sad to say but there was a wave and I was about toՉ€». FLIP AHHHH. Day 9 My friend hope showed up next to me in the river and was like hey faith what is up and then there was two girls that picked up hope and I. then they took a photo with us and then put us back in the river. We were next to each other until we hit the nelson river Day 10 I saw lezley and she was getting picked up by three girls they must be friendly. I was worried that if they were not friendly they might harm lezley if I do not help. Then they picked me up the first girl said Չ€œwe should keep them for a few days.Չ€ Then the second and third girls were likeՉ€YayՉ€ Then I looked at lezley and said help so she said I need help to help you so we started arguing each other then the third girl open a door and said home sweet home. Day 11 I so tired when we went to the cabin the next day because the girls were having a sleepover and kept me and lezley awake at least in a week I will be put back in the river then I will be able to see and smell fish so it was a week ago when I set sail when I was getting decorated the girl put my name on my canoe and she said she will be watching out for me and checking how many people pick me up and see where I am. I hope she finds me in the nelson river and take a picture with me because I will miss her and if I see her again I will be smiling because I will be glad to see her. She said her middle name is faith so that is where she got my name. I wish I saw her face wait I did she had brown eyes and dirty blond hair.She told me that I will make it to the hudson bay. She also said that she would be in crookston the whole time and I will be in Minnesota,North dakota, and winnipeg in the water so when you get picked up it will be cool I might even pick you up by accident because she forgot that she decorated me. One day I think it was the third day there was about three hours of the day left then I think it was her the girl that created meՉ€» holy the sun is already going down. Good night. Day 12 It was a late night after I went to sleep I was about to close my eyes when there was a BIG loud CRACK but the big loud crack was a chainsaw cutting down trees there was a big storm that harmed about out to hit me and it was going to hit a tree and the tree was above me. twenty trees then there was a tornado then the tornado was in the water and about to hit me. o ya this was in winnipeg. Good night Day 13 Hi I am back with another awesome day and I would love to see bears and flowers along side the river and last night it was hilarious I was sleeping when I went past the coolest rainbow of all times it was so cool in the night sky it was bright enough to see the ocean. Day 14 I was getting picked up as I was looking at the rainbow and I got so scared because I was looking at the beautiful rainbow. The beautiful rainbow disappeared because the rain that stopped.
