My canoeՉs name is Silantro of the Sea. But sometimes we will call it Silantro for short. This journey will be an exciting adventure. Silantro will meet lots of cool things like a dog, a lot of fish, some people fishing, and some frogs. My canoe will start in Crookston, Minnesota where he will set off in the Red Lake River.
Silantro will flow north because the Red Lake River flows down, which is north. Then, he will go through the Red River in Grand Forks. Next, Silantro will go to the United States/Canadian border. After that, he will go to Winnipeg, Lake Winnipeg and then the Nelson River. After the Nelson River, he will of course go to Hudson Bay. Silantro of the Sea will enjoy these lakes and rivers because my canoe *LOVES* water.
After he sets off in the Red Lake River in Crookston he starts his journey to go to Fisher. Then Silantro will swim to East Grand Forks. But how he gets to East Grand Forks is that he meets a fish and the fish is big, so the fish pushes Silantro while Silantro is still swimming. That's how he got to East Grand Forks. Now Silantro gets to the border, but he skipped Grand Forks because when he was on his way there, Silantro got stuck on shore. So someone picked Silantro up and brought him to the border of United States/Canadian, he meets a frog jumping on lily pads. Then sees a dog running on the grass and having fun. My canoe will be tired now so he lays next to a rock on the shore.
After a few hours my canoe has awaken and is ready, and excited to continue on to his journey. Now he is on his way to Lake Winnipeg. During its adventure to Lake Winnipeg he sees some fisherman fishing for Walleyes. After he reaches Lake Winnipeg he goes to the last river before he reaches Hudson Bay, which is Nelson River. In the Nelson River, he will float and swim to the Hudson Bay. After about two hours, he finally reached Hudson Bay,so decided to lay on shore to rest for a while because he was tired after swimming all day.
Silantro of the Sea was so excited he finally reached his destination! *YAY*. But when he got there he got stuck on an iceberg, but luckily a Beluga whale pushed the canoe off the iceberg and he was on his way again.
In August, on his way to Hudson Strait he felt the nice refreshing and cold water because it was hot outside.
Silantro will continue to swim through Hudson Strait, then into the Atlantic Ocean. Then my canoe will go to France. There another journey will begin. :)
