Journey's Adventure - Journey, the canoe starts his adventure in Crookston, Minnesota in the Red Lake River. He will float north down the river. On his way to Grand Forks he sees green grass, beautiful flowers, and big animals like deer and moose. Soon he hits a rock and goes flying onto land. After about five hours a kayaker comes by and throws him back in the water. The water continues to smoothly carry the canoe down the river. He feels calm. Finally, he gets to Grand Forks and flows into the Red River. It is almost night time as the sun is going down. The wind is howling and the clouds are dark then it starts to rain, Journey is scared so he closes his eyes. In the morning Journey is tired so he falls asleep. When he wakes up he is slowly passing the Canadian Border. He slept for three days sleepy. It is noisy with the a lot of cars passing by. A fisherman in a motor boat comes by and picks Journey up from the Red River. He puts him in his old boat and carries him to Lake Winnipeg. On the way there it is very noisy with the loud boat motor going. He feels joyful to see birds flying around while heՉ€™s on his way to the Lake Winnipeg. The ride was awesome! At Lake Winnipeg the water is calm and he sees Northern Pike and Walleye. The water splashes on him, it feels colder than the Red River. He sees many boats cool boats zoom by. In a few days the leaves start to change color as fall is coming. Soon it gets to be cold and the water freezes and Journey becomes cold and lonely. He sees snow falling and animals go by like Arctic foxes and Polar bears. After about five months, it gets to be warm and the snow starts to melt and Journeys back to his exciting adventure. It is warm and the breeze is cool. He stays in lake Winnipeg for two years. Then, he travels down the Nelson River. It is a bit chilly and the water is roughly carrying Journey down the river. Soon the water washes him onto shore. Journey hears nothing but the water rushing, then the waves brings him back in the water. Finally, he reaches Hudson Bay where it is freezing cold and he hears howling. Then he gets stuck on an iceberg and floats there forever.
