JoyՉ€™s Journey - My canoeՉ€™s name is Joy. Joy is going to start her journey in Crookston, Minnesota in the Red Lake River. Immediately, Joy will feel some fish like a Walleye swimming beside her in the water and feel the nice sunny weather. Then the wind pushes Joy into lots of rocks, she yells for help but nobody is there, then the current pushes her out of the big pile of rocks. Joy will continue to flow to Fisher which remains in the Red Lake River. Joy will smell flowers like the lilac flowers. Joy will also be having a fun time just being on the water and feeling the water on the side of the canoe. After that, Joy will flow to East Grand Forks which is in the Red Lake River. A girl named Grace was walking by the Red Lake River and saw Joy, so then she went and grabbed Joy to look at her and then put her back in the water at the Red Lake River and Joy kept going on her journey. Next, she will flow down into the Red River which is in Grand Forks. It will be night time and Joy will see the big dipper. (wow) A week later, Joy will be flowing past the United States/Canadian border. In the Red River, and she will hear beautiful birds chirping. Suddenly out of nowhere Joy sees a hawk. The hawk looks like it is coming for her in the air. She feels very scared but the hawk flies over her. After that, crazy scare, Joy will be flowing down the Red River and she will be going really fast down the Red River. After that, Joy will be in Winnipeg, floating in Lake Winnipeg. She will see a cloud that is in a shape of a lilac flower and she will remember that she saw lilac flowers on the shore of the Red Lake River. Next, Joy will be in the Nelson River. Joy will see a whole bunch of flowers and multiple kinds of animals like deer,moose, geese and skunk. Then finally, Joy will be in Hudson Bay and will see the big icebergs and polar bears. *Hooray* :) she made it to Hudson Bay!!
