I have a dream to see the Hudson Bay someday. Once I left the Tongue River west of Cavalier,ND, I saw some pretty interesting things on my journey. Boy, I didnՉ€™t realize the Tongue River had so many turns as I was starting to get dizzy. I was just floating along the Tongue River when all of a sudden I saw a big doe with her twin fawns playing with each other, but they suddenly stopped playing and just stared at me as I floated past them. I think they were scared of me because they looked like they were going to run away. They were enjoyable to watch them and hope I can see more on my journey.Well I floated onto the Red River past Pembina when I saw a whole bunch of lilac trees not too far from the river. Oh, how I love the smell of lilacs. It wasnՉ€™t too far from the lovely smell that I smelled something awful though. It was a skunk! Oh boy, I sure hope it doesnՉ€™t see me and spray me. Whew! I made it past him. I was getting kind of hungry when I saw some Juneberry bushes but I also saw an eagle fly above me so I continued floating along the Red River until I got to the city of Winnipeg. I canՉ€™t believe how time is flying by.On the outskirts of Winnipeg I saw a lot of white birch trees. Those are one of my favorite kinds of trees. The bark on the trees are white and it looks like paper that is ready to fall off the tree. It is so hard to believe I made it to my destination. I am at Hudson Bay. It is beautiful. I feel so free! All I see is water. My journey has ended and I loved every minute of it even though I didnՉ€™t get to see any more deer IՉ€™m just happy I didnՉ€™t see any more skunks. Yay,IՉ€™m FREE!!!
