Paddle to the Sea It was March 30th and I was laying on the snow as my canoe as it fell on the ice.It started to crack and all of a sudden plop I was floating down the Sand hill river. I hear something behind me, and all of a sudden I saw it it was a bobcat. It was going to get me. All of sudden I fell off of a little waterfall. It felt like a pitcher off of the twins baseball team and before I knew it I was on the Red River. I had escaped the bobcat, and now I saw deer and beaverՉ€™s too. It was relaxing but it was fast. I was on my way down the Red River... One week later, I was going through the forest when I heard a crackling noise in the woods. It was a forest fire. Animals weՉ€™re running out of the forest like a bunch of bees going for more pollen. A tree fell down and and a wave through me on shore Չ€» The next day, a rain storm washed me in the water. Again, the water started to speed up and I was going down the Red River. I was in Grand Forks and cat fishermen were pulling their boats out of the river because of the rain when they spotted me one of the fishermen netted me. One of them offered to put a varnish on me so they fixed me upՉ€» Two days later, he released me before he lowered his boat in the water. I was on my way through Grand Forks again. When all of a sudden, a photographer showed up to take a picture of me for some odd reason. I donՉ€™t know why he wanted to take a picture of me? Maybe it was about my journey, but I must go on. Oh no, I think I see a water wheel. Oh no here I go, I made it. ThatՉ€™s a good thing I made it out of that big ruckus. IՉ€™m on my way to Lake Winnipeg. Oh look, a moose. I wonder what heՉ€™s doing today? The moose, I think heՉ€™s going to eat the weeds in the river. I think they go out there to get away from predators. I hope he doesnՉ€™t think IՉ€™m a weed because IՉ€™m kind of dirty. But I donՉ€™t think he minds that IՉ€™m here right now. So, I can keep going. So far I have seen a bobcat and a moose. I wonder what else I will see? Oh no, I think I see a dam up there. I hope I land right side up or I might sink like a rock. Oh no, IՉ€™m falling like a baseball after the batter hits a home run. Plump...splash... IՉ€™m floatingՉ€». Yeah, I can still make Lake Winnipeg. Oh yeah, thereՉ€™s a wolf. This is the first wolf IՉ€™ve seen, and thereՉ€™s his den. There are more wolves around the cave, and here comes a baby wolf out of the small cave. Oh no that baby wolf thinks IՉ€™m a chew toy, what am I going to do? Just in time, it started to sprinkle! Maybe if it starts raining harder the water will speed and I will go faster. It is pouring rain now, the water speed is going faster. Maybe I can escape this wolf. Yes, I escaped the wolf pup. Rain, rain, I really need it. Rain harder. Oh no, itՉ€™s going fast except the water is seven feet deep now. Now if I sink I will be down there forever. The rain was starting to stop. I will get to Lake Winnipeg tomorrow because I am in Winnipeg nowՉ€»There it is... I made it to Lake Winnipeg! I have made, it but donՉ€™t think my adventures are over because I am Paddle Paddle to the Sea!
