It was early spring. During the winter a boy handcrafted a canoe that was called Dragon Wing. ItՉs paint job was as if they were scales of a dragon. It was off mid-spring down the Elm river. There were many catfish interested in the tiny canoe. The Dragon Wing was just past Grand Forks when weather started getting rough. There was strong wind and heavy rain. Dragon WingՉs paint was ruined but the wind pushed him all the way to the Red River. Then to Canada. By mid-summer, Dragon Wing was almost past Winnipeg. By the end of the summer, it was at Hudson Bay. While Dragon Wing was traveling through the bay, it saw many people on boats that also saw it. One windy day, Dragon Wing was launched into the air by a large wave and into a ship destroying it. That was the end of Dragon Wing.
