My canoe will go through the dam and take 8 years to reach my goal, and it will be the first to reach the Nelson River. Benjamin (my canoe) will go through extreme conditions. Benjamin will reach Grand Forks after 4 1/2 years. As he goes along he will be worn down by fish and waves.
Benjamin will have been worn to splinters. Soon, he will be swirling in circles at a confluence for awhile until the water slows. His markings will be worn off so much he is unrecognizable. Benjamin will be at Lake Winnipeg by then.
After 8 years of his journey he will be at the Nelson River. He will meet belugas that will carry him to the Hudson Bay. Walruses will break his wood.Epoxy plating will be all that's left of him. He met you along the way. THE END
