19RD0471 My canoe will make it all the way to Quebec. I hope it sees Niagara Falls and meets some otters. Along the way, my canoeՉ€™s journey will be amazing! Hello, my name is Reveur, thatՉ€™s Dreamer in French. I started my journey as a beautiful, foot long, painted canoe. I have plastic, lining the inside of me. One day, my painter brought me to a riverbank. She put me down and I slid down, and toppled into the water. I was first upside-down but eventually the waves pushed me upright. As I rounded a bend, I was caught in reeds and cattails. I was there until an elegant creature with long legs, stooped over to get a drink. The deers sudden movement pushed me free. I was on my journey again. I continued my voyage. After long months of traveling it looked like I was in a city again. My wood was cracked and rotting. My paint was chipped. After just a few months my wood had changed in do many ways. As I entered the city I could hear thousands of voices speakingՉ€».. French? Was I in Canada already? Every now and again I could catch a little English. But I mostly did not understand a word they said. As I entered a sign read in French: Bienvenue a Quebec la capitale nationale.(welcome to Quebec the capital national) I do not read French but I am guessing it said something like: Չ€˜Welcome to Quebec,Չ€™ Then as I was daydreaming about Quebec, gentle hands plucked me from the water. I could understand this person, she was speaking French! Չ€œDaddy, look! We do find the most remarkable things in Quebec! Bonjour, little canoe!Չ€ Soon after, I was in a little warmՉ€»Չ€» moving cabin? As we bumped along the little girl (who was about eight years old,) got out a plastic little mini human. Soon, I found out this plastic lady, was named Barbie. When we finally stopped I could hear a thundering noise. We got out and the little girl, carried me to the edge and dropped me in. Չ€œAu revoir!Չ€ I knew where I was. Niagara Falls! I plummeted towards the water at the speed of light. I hit and bubbles swirled around me like little fairies dancing in a summer breeze. When I looked up I saw a furry face. An otter! I had heard of these cuddly creatures. As I came closer to give my greetings, the otter panicked and swam away. I didnՉ€™t mean to scare it! As I left Niagara Falls, I saw plenty more otters. Several more lonely months drifting on the river, I woke up to the smell of salt water. IՉ€™d made it to The Hudson Bay!! Well, goodbye for now! I must start on my real journey!
