I was launched Thursday, May 23, 2019 in Central Park in Crookston, Minnesota. It was a sunny day. There were a lot of people around and all the kids waved when I got launched. I started moving down the Red Lake River. As I got out of Crookston, I saw lots of animals like bears, hawks, birds, and skunks.
A month later
Finally, I had reached Fisher, Minnesota. This is a long river. Wait what is that noise? Is that a tornado? AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I have never been so scared in my whole life. The tornado blew me five feet away from the river. I am surprised I landed this close to the river. Three feet away was a dirt road. Wait, what is that? It looks shiny and cool. It has black round things on the bottom. Ohh, itՉs a pick-up and people got out of it. As they got closer, I noticed they were girls, two of them. Okay, they definitely see me. I think theyՉre going to pick me up and throw me back in the river.
Yes, they picked me up. Wait, where are they taking me? Away from the river? TheyՉre putting me in their big black thing. What are they talking about? They took me to their house and starting fixing my paint on my canoe.
After they were done they took me back to Grand Forks and put me in the Red River.
Off I went, as I went farther they kept waving. As I turned the corner, I saw them leave in their truck. Wow, this is a big city I mean, really BIG. As I got in the center of the town I kept seeing trucks and taller buildings. When I got out of town, I kept seeing more and more fish. It seemed like they were scared of something. I didn't know what. I looked back to see how far I had traveled. I am assuming, I have a feeling, I have been traveling for a long time because I am in the middle of nowhere. I canՉt see anything, no buildings, no trucks, but I can see some animals like squirrels and bunnies.
I finally reached Lake Winnipeg. It took me two years to have reached Lake Winnipeg.
After Six years of traveling , I reached Hudson Bay.
