My canoeՉs journey starts in the Red River outside of Grand Forks, ND. As my canoe flows down the river in spring, it sees many animals on its way north to Lake Winnipeg. Suddenly, the current speeds up and there is a waterfall that the Canoe is about to go over. As it falls, the wind blows it into a small pool of spinning current and was flung onto the shore. The next day a prowling Wolf found it and thought it was food so it picked it up in its mouth and all the loose wood came off. The wolf realized it wasn't food and dropped it back into the river. Later down stream, there was a big wooden Beaver dam. The canoe almost made it through, but it got stuck on the last branch. It was there for a whole week. Finally, one day the beaver moved the branch that the canoe was on and set it free. Three months later the canoe finally made it to Lake Winnipeg and has been circling the lake ever sense.
