My name is HE because she is an explorer that peacefully goes down the river stream. My adventure is going to start off at the Red River and my dream is for it to reach the Hudson Bay and flow into the ocean. I am travelling and right away not even 20 miles out I come across this baby fish. It hasnՉt developed any teeth yet, so I wasnՉt scared of it. It then starts talking to me and she seemed very friendly, so I talked back. Then right way, we became friends and she continued to swim along with me for awhile. It was about twenty miles later and she heard her mom yelling for her, worried that she was lost. She decided that she better go back to her family and she swam back. I then continued for a little bit longer and out of nowhere this pointed hook hits the top of me. I started floating upwards and had no idea what was going on. I reached the top of the river and got pulled up onto the surface where there was this man who was all bundled up with a long pole in his hand, something I have never seen before. I asked him if he could put me back so I could continue on my journey, but I knew that I wouldnՉt be able to move properly with a big hole in the middle of me, and he could tell that too. He took me to his house and said that he would try to fix me as fast as I could, so he can put me right back in the water as soon as possible. He fixed me up and we went back to the hole and it was frozen over, so I wouldnՉt be able to continue until spring when the ice melted. He felt really bad for stopping my journey and told me that he was just looking for fish to eat in this cold winter and he was really sorry for puncturing me with his fishing pole. He thought it would be fun if we went sledding down the hill that was only a couple miles away from his house. We went to the hill and it was huge, and I thought that this was going to be the best time ever. I went down the hill for the first time and it was so steep, but it was the most fun I had on my journey so far. Once I got to the bottom I heard some type of animal coming towards me. I turned around and it was a moose. It picked me up and I was so scared at that point that I thought I was never going to make it back into the river again and never get to achieve my dream. He spit me out and it looked familiar where I was. Then I saw the fishing guy who brought me to his house and I realized that was where I was at his house and safe. My hopes then started to come back and I had faith that I would still be able to make this journey happen. I got to back into the water and floated until I got to Winnipeg. I was on the bottom of the river peacefully floating along when a turtle came in and snatched me with its mouth. It brought me up to its habitat which was 10 miles further from where I was picked up. It started to chew me, but then realized that it wasnՉt his food which is what it was looking for. It spit me out and I flew 2 more miles which actually helped me because I am closer to my goal. Then I was stuck on the land for about 3 days. A huge gust of wind came and blew me back into the water and then I continued my journey. I finally reached salt water and knew I finished after a three year long journey with many things that were stopping me.
