As I start my long journey down the Sand Hill River,
I see hummingbirds flying as fast as lightning through the sky.
I can hear the deer snorting near the river's edge.
I can feel the rocks on the bottom of the river
hitting my canoe like bulls ramming into me.
I can taste the fresh water as it splashes in my
face like rain drops falling on me.
I smell the fresh spring air.
I see waves as big as hills.
I have finally reached Hudson Bay.
