One winter the Fisher Fourth Grade colored little wooden canoes. In the spring, they all walked down to the bridge and threw them off. My name is Jeff and I remember that day like yesterday. Oh, wait, it was yesterday! Well, now I am floating down the Red Lake River peacefully, with fish splashing around, beavers gnawing down trees for their dams, and birds chirping in the trees. Soon the noise died down and the current started to speed up! I was going through rapids! They were so fast that I got through them in a matter of seconds! The water was peaceful again. Soon, a little ways down the river, a young boy picked me up, and brought me to his father, and they checked the website then put me back. My journey to Africa continues!
