I was made by a 4th grader and on one day I would get to go in the water. I heard someone say we were in Fisher so that is where I started my journey. I got to be with some other canoes for a while. But after two days they left me. I think they got ahead of me or got stuck. A couple hours later a boat came and a fishing pole got ahold of me and the next moment I was in the boat.
I saw a little girl and what seemed like her dad. Once the girlՉs dad saw me he threw me! I got stuck in a log. After a while the weather picked up and rain came pouring down. After a good 10 minutes I got unstuck.
I got lonely a lot. I looked at the animals. My favorites were deer, rabbits, foxes, and beavers. After a week I saw a sign that said welcome to Winnipeg. I saw little kids splashing in and out of the water, but one moment later a kid picked me. The boy yelled to his mom and asked for a marker and the boy wrote a name on me. My name is now Max. After that the boy threw me in the water and after that I was on my way.
It was almost fall when I saw a human, a middle aged woman. The lady picked me up and examined me. Then out of nowhere a dog came and grabbed me. I saw a cottage. That is where the lady lived. After a while the dog stopped at a little house. I saw the dogՉs tag. Hiis name was Maximas. Two hours later the lady came and got me and brought me in her cottage the lady fixed me up and kept me till spring. When the floods came back, the lady threw me and off I went. After two days I was thinking about where I was going to end up. I was hoping I would end up in the U.K.
The sky was dark and I was scared. Then a minute later Bam! Bam! Bam! lightning came again and again and again. It hit a tree. The tree caught fire and it was spreading fast. There was a dam ahead of me. It also caught fire. I was so close to it, but then boom a man picked me up. As the man picked me up, the deer scattered and beavers swam away and rabbits followed the deer.
The man was a firefighter. After they all got the fire out, the man brought me to his home. The next day he brought me to the river and a day after that I got to Hudson Bay. Now I see the sea. I don't know where I will go now on my journey.
