Hi I am Lily and I am On an adventure to Hudson Bay. I started off from the Tongue River. A sweet girl set me off on this adventure.
As I am on the Tongue River I am going through Cavalier. I keep seeing stray cats and dogs. I just went under a bridge by the City Park. It was awesome but, I got stuck on some ice. There was a cat walking on the ice, it was crazy. I saw some kids screaming because they were playing tag I think. They did not see me though. I am free from the ice, a nice dog got me out of the ice. I Am passing through Cavalier and I hear and see some song birds.
I passed Cavalier and I am on my way to Bathgate. The river is getting rough. I think I am going into a different river.
I am in the Pembina river so that must mean I am in Bathgate. There is a lot of oak leaves on the ground. ThereՉs a family of foxes & shrews!
I see two other canoes. They are my friends, Journey & River! We went under a bridge in Pembina and we got stuck.
I got free and now I am on my way to the Red River. I donՉt know if Journey & River got out. I hope so. I am at the canadian border. IՉm now on my way to the Jean st. Baptiste. There were snapping turtles by Jean St. Baptiste. The Red River is going fast. There is a storm. I am getting wet from the rain storm.
The sky is clear and I am passing a lot of fields. A farmer picked me up and read my message and he drove me to lake winnipeg but he did not take me there.
I was so scared. I saw Journey though. She asked me what happened. I said that I got picked up by a farmer and, he put me on his dashboard. It was so hot. I thought I was going to melt. I made it though.
Journey and I went on the Nelson River. The fox squirrels gave us the death stair. We got out though. We saw a field of dandelions.I put a dandelion on me to carry it to the Hudson Bay.
The river is going faster. There are wolves chasing us but we are almost there. We see a moose in the Hudson Bay. We made it in one piece so that is it but, Journey and I will stick together no matter what.
