Canoe 20RD1393

20RD1393
In May I will be putting my canoe named Trail in the Clearwater River. I am going to wish my canoe luck and I hope it travels far and makes it all the way to the Hudson Bay. I have a feeling that once I let it go it might take on a little water but I think it will hold up and travel on to the Red Lake River in Red Lake Falls. I wish I could have a GPS tracker on it so I could track it all the way as it goes to Red Lake Falls. I could also watch it go by as it makes its way to the Red River in East Grand Forks. I am excited to learn if anyone sees my canoe and lets us know where they found it. Hopefully if they find it washed up on shore they will put it back into the water and send it back on its journey. Once my canoe makes it up into Canada, it will float up to Lake Winnipeg, hopefully it will make it safely through that lake and will find the river to exit and continue weaving through the curves of the river without being stuck on the banks. I have a feeling that it will take a long time for it to make it to the Hudson Bay, but I am sure that it will! I know that we will probably be out of school for the summer before we hear anything from anyone about our canoes so I will have to check in with Mrs. Hamnes once in a while to see if she knows if anyone has seen Trail. I am so excited to see how this journey goes.
