Oceanna to Sea
My canoe will make it all the way to Red River. I hope she sees another canoe. Along the way, my canoeՉs journey will be to make it all the way to the Hudson Bay.
Once upon a time there was a canoe named Oceanna. She was flowing through Turtle River, but one day a bunch of dragonflies lifted her out of the water, and onto land. Then, a colony of beavers suddenly snagged the canoe with thier teeth and put her back in the water. The canoe had a chip on the side. The chip caused the canoe to go deeper and deeper under water.
Then, a huge waterfall was coming, and the canoe went flying down. ThatՉs when a farmer saw the canoe. The farmer grabbed a fishing net and caught the canoe before it could have broken. The farmer touched up the chip in the canoe by filling the hole with glue.
The glue was not completely dry, so the canoe sank to the bottom of Red River. The glue got extremely cold, so it froze. The canoe floated all the way back up to the surface. The waves were super rough on the canoe. Then the canoe ended up on a beach in the middle of nowhere.
A little kid lifted the canoe up and said a wish to himself. ՉI wish you could talk,Չ the little boy whispered.
ՉAre you going to throw me back in the water?Չ The canoe asked the little boy while he was holding her.
The boy screamed so loud, Չdad!Չ The boy dashed up into the cabin from outside. The canoe I found can talk, ՉseeՉՉ as he put the canoe in his dad's face. The canoe did not talk to the dad. He got mad because he was just wasting his time. The little boy whispered to the canoe Չplease talk.Չ
ՉOk I can do this,Չ The canoe whispered back. The little boy walked back to his dad, and the canoe said Չhello.Չ The dad was freaked out but was also surprised. The dad wanted to sell the canoe, but the boy told his father that he couldn't.
The dad told his son," fine then, we must put it back in the water where it belongs.
The little boy said, Չno I want to keep the canoe", I was just getting to meet her.
The dad said, Չhow about we make a deal.Չ You get to keep the canoe for the rest of the day today. The little boy agreed the next day the little boy said goodbye to the canoe. It was tough on the boy because he was just getting to know the canoe. Then the boy said a wish, I hope you get far in life. The boy and the dad both said goodbye to the canoe and tossed it back into the water. The boy was incredibly sad after that. They all had a happy life after that.
