Aurora to Sea
My canoe, Aurora, started off in Turtle River in North Dakota. My canoe will make it all the way to Venice, Italy. I hope it sees the Northern Lights and meets the people in Italy. Along the way, my canoeՉs journey will be to make it across all seas and rivers.
Aurora had made her way north and onto the Lake Winnipeg in Canada. Aurora had then taken the Nelson River east to the Hudson Bay. The water was very icy, making it hard for the canoe to stay above water. The canoe had then gotten stuck! The canoe had been stuck on an ice-burg!
The next morning the sun was shining through the clouds. Aurora was still stuck there, but then she saw a seal. The seal saw the canoe and started to play with it. Later that evening the seal had gotten tired of playing with the canoe. Aurora was very frightened that she would not be able to get back on track.
Aurora was able to get back on track gladly, after the seal decided to stop playing. Aurora was headed to the Artic Ocean. She was sailing by when suddenly, the Northern Lights appeared!
Aurora had heard the Northern Lights say, ՉAurora I see that you are struggling.ՉՉ IՉm here to help you out. The icy water ahead will be tough and the ocean will be never ending for a little canoe like you. I will keep you protected!Չ
Aurora had said happily, ՉThank you so much! I was starting to get nervous.ՉՉ Aurora was incredibly happy that the Northern Lights had her back. Aurora was very curious to how the Northern Lights could help her.
When suddenly, much to AuroraՉs surprise, the hair on the canoe had started to glow gold. It had powered the canoe with super speed and shield protection. Although the Artic water was choppy, she made it through the tough seas with ease.
The longest part will be crossing the Atlantic Ocean. This part of the journey would have taken weeks or even months for Aurora to cross, however, it only took a day and a half before she reached the coast of Europe. Here lies the Mediterranean Sea.
Finally, AuroraՉs journey was coming to an end. Aurora heads straight to Ionian Sea at the boot of Italy. Before Aurora made it to her destination, she had to go through the Adriatic Sea. It was semi hard for Aurora to go through the sea, but Aurora had made it! Aurora headed straight to Venice to float the canals with the tourists! Everyone cheered while she floated by. Her adventure was complete all thanks to the help of the Northern Lights!
