Tropical Express to Sea
My canoe will make it all the way to Lake Superior. I hope it meets beaver dams and meets all sorts of people. Along the way, my canoeՉs journey will be very interesting. The Tropical Express was set out into the Turtle River. A lot of animals stared at it and wondered what it was. They all scurried up and forgot that there was water and fell in the water. Every time they tried to grab it; it would slip away.
The canoe will float to the Red River. A frog will jump on and pretend it is his canoe. He grabbed two leaves and tied them together to make paddles to row with. Until the canoe tipped
over and the frog fell off. The frog wanted to get back on, so he jumped on the land into the water and missed every time.
Next, the canoe was found by a beaver. He thought that it was an unusual piece of wood. He grabbed the Tropical Express and he did not know what to do because he was a baby, so he was going to give it to his family. He had to sprint along the river to find his family. Then, he finally found his family. The beaver thought it was wood for the beaver dam.
The beaver brought it to the family dam. ՉCan you please hold this for a minuteՉ his mom said. The mom gave the canoe to her son.
ՉYes mom,Չ he said happily. His mom was proud of him for finding wood. Then, the beaver was chowing on it and it fell in the water. It flowed throw the water for a long time.
A man happened to find it! The man said, "Wow this must be a canoe that traveled places. I must fix it!Չ The first thing he did was that he fixed the chewed marks with more wood. Then, he repainted the color on it, so it looked newer and fixed it up. He drove up to a river and set it in. It splashed and flipped under the water.
Finally, after its long journey it made it all the way to Lake Superior. When it got there a man was fishing. The man caught the Tropical Express with his fishing rood. He took it home and showed his family instead of putting it in the water. He put it on a shelf with a glass case and called it his own.
