Duck Go QwackՉs journey
My canoe will make it all the way to the ocean. I hope it sees a lot of nature and meets many ducks. Along the way my canoes journey will be awesome.
It was early spring in Larimore when Bob made a little canoe. He named the canoe Duck Go Qwack. Bob named the canoe Duck Go Qwack because Bob loves ducks. Bob made Duck Go Qwack, wanting it to go all the way to the ocean, so Bob found a good spot at Turtle River then he let go of Duck Go Qwack. Duck Go QwackՉs journey has now started.
After a couple hours of flowing down the river Duck Go Qwack has seen so many animals including ducks. Then suddenly Duck Go Qwack heard a big crash! He was stuck on a rock in the middle of the river. Duck Go Qwack was there for hours until he heard a splash. There had been a salmon that flopped above the water, and the splash from the water knocked him off the rock. Duck Go Qwack was back on his journey to the ocean.
Duck Go Qwack was going so fast he was now only four miles away from the ocean he has some scratches and dents on him, but he is still in one piece. He was going so fast that he didn't realize that he was off course! It took him hours to get back on track, but he did it.
A little while after he got back on track a duck had taken him Duck Go Qwack was so high up. Then of course the duck had let go of Duck Go Qwack. Now Duck Go Qwack was falling. He had made a huge splash when he got back down. Luckily, he landed in water, and. He was still on track. Soon the canoe will be in the ocean, Soon.
Finally, Duck Go Qwack was just a couple yards from the ocean, but of course he got stuck in the sand by the shore. Duck Go Qwack was there for three years nobody found him, he just sat there in the cold, cold sand. There was one person who found him, but they thought he was dumb, so they didn't pick him up.
Then after Duck Go Qwack had been there for six years someone had picked him up. It was Bob! Bob was all grown up now he had a wife and children. When he picked up the canoe, he looked at the name. ՉWell, hey there old fellow it's been a whileՉ bob said, ՉMy good friend you have made it to the ocean well almostՉ Bob said while letting Duck Go Qwack go.
As Duck Go Qwack went on into the ocean Bob smiled because now he knew that his canoe had made it.
