The Journey of Flame
My canoe will make it to Hudson Bay. I hope it sees turtles, deer and birds. Along the way, my canoes journey will be good.
It is a nice day in June. IՉm ready to launch my canoe, Flame, on to his first sailing journey. Flame is excited to set sail and launch from the Turtle River. He has heard about beautiful birds that like to fly over the Turtle River. It is so calm out ,so the canoe should sail peacefully down the river to the Hudson Bay.
On the day of the launch the canoe will sail out of the Turtle River. Snapping turtles are seen all over the river. Their heads are popping out of the water in all directions. Flame also seen a color of birds he had never seen before. The birds flying overhead were bright red spotted birds. Flame was so distracted looking at these birds he had never seen before that him and a turtle bumped right into each other. Flame wobbled back and forth, but was able to keep himself upright and going.
After a little while a thunderstorm appears. The wind is very strong and blows the canoe out of the river and into mud. While trying to get out of the mud a brown bear comes and almost steps on the canoe. When Flame sees a big brown bear coming toward him, he got scared. The brown bear said, Չ Hi,Չ to the canoe.
The canoe said, ՉHello, my name is Flame.Չ
The brown bear said, ՉMy name is BobՉ. After a little while, Flame got less scared.
Along came a deer saying hello to the canoe. The deer saw the bear by the canoe and got scared. Being scared the deer kicked the canoe into the water right side up and the canoe started going to Hudson Bay.
After a few months of good and bad sailing and he almost got to his destination. He could see that there were all the canoes were in front of him. He was so excited to see the other canoes. He went up to the canoes. He said hi to the canoes and they all said hi to Flame.
